Administrative Assistant, Real Estate

The Administrative Assistant, Real Estate provides administrative support to the Real Estate & Franchising department, primarily to the head office team including the Vice President, Real Estate & Franchising, as well as the field team as required. This position reports to the Manager, Legal Real Estate and is based at the A&W head office in North Vancouver. Primarily working with the Real Estate & Franchising, Design & Construction, and Legal Services departments, the Administrative Assistant requires a professional and mature attitude and demeanour to deal with the day-to-day work of the department including managing calendars and meetings, making travel arrangements and appointments, preparing expense reports, event planning, and maintaining Real Estate files.

The ideal candidate has experience providing support at a high level, preferably as an administrative or executive assistant, with demonstrated organization, problem solving, and administrative skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, well-developed relationship building skills, and strong attention to detail are required for success in this role. Ideally, the candidate has an ability to work independently with minimal supervision and is able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong computer skills and fast, accurate word processing skills are also required.
